About the Track

Hello, my name is Dean Elliott. We are excited to announce plans to establish a race track for 1/5-scale gasoline RC cars in Hillsboro, Highland County, Ohio. This new venture aims to bring the RC car community together in a fun and affordable way.

The track will be a dirt oval approximately 300 feet by 150 feet, featuring a 14-foot-wide main lane and a Baja lane through the center with mild jumps. It will be located near Hillsboro, in Highland County. My goal is to create a facility that caters to enthusiasts of all skill levels and welcomes all classes of gas and electric RC cars.

Track Images

Track License: Complete 10 qualifying clean laps at pre-determined minimum speed for race license. Fee $10. Limit one license test run per day. No fee for repeated tests.

Race: For safety reasons, no spotter assisted correctons made during race. You Wreck You're Out. Caution called, car removed by spotter.

Practice: Spotters Available, or bring your own. Leather gloves and leg protection is Required for all spotters.

Fun Laps: Run with other cars until your heart is content.

Safe Driver Policy: If you are a danger to other RC drivers or drivers cars you will not be permitted to participate in test and tune, fun laps or races. Solo practice sessions will be available for drivers who are learning.

May: Summer Sprint Race
June: Stock Class Buggy Shootout (Entry $20, 1st Place 60% Pool, 2nd Place 25% Pool, 3rd Place 15%)
July: Outlaw Class

1/5-Scale Gasoline 32cc Stock Trucks: 2 Lap Qualifying, Transponder Required. Must be completely stock engine & running gear (tires and wheels). Servo and steering mods are OK.
1/5-Scale Gasoline Outlaw Trucks: 2 Lap Qualifying, Transponder Required. Anything goes; exception: tire size must be stock.
